A five-month-pregnant woman was taken to a hospital emergency room complaining of vaginal bleeding and being unable to feel the fetus move. Despite significant blood loss, nurses gave assurances that all was well. A short time later, the patient delivered a dead fetus, her condition worsened, and she stopped breathing.
